If you’re a corporate-minded person I’m sure I’ve sent you to a lot of articles that have addressed this topic. My favorite is this one from Forbes. Basically, the number of business hours that people have every day matters a lot. If there’s less than 10 to 12 hours of work each day, then that means people get their work done during that time.
This is true. If youre not familiar with that, check out this article from the NY Times.
This is another good article that highlights the importance of being on time at work. When it comes to work and life, its all about being on time. If youre not, its going to affect you and youll have a bad time.
Theres a certain amount of work that people do every day, but this number varies greatly. There are a lot of things that people do every day that are not their primary jobs. These are things that people are doing that are fun, or that they enjoy doing. They usually don’t do this full time. They have other things that they do. These are the exceptions.
People need to work, they need to pay bills, they need to provide for their families. If they don’t, their lives won’t be worth living. If they’re not around and their kids dont live with them, then they won’t be able to pay their bills. If they’re working late, their day is going to be ruined. This is particularly true for business owners who are under time pressure.
I know it’s usually pretty bad for the people doing work to be working 8-5, but there are some exceptions. For instance, a person working in medical is probably not going to be available to babysit their kids around the clock, but they might not do it 24/7 either. If they’re working the 8/5 clock, they’re probably not going to be available to babysit while the kids are at school or while the kids are at day care, etc.
As for people who are working in business that is a very different story. For them the situation may be, for example, that they are working a bunch of different things all at the same time. They might have to come into work around the clock or be expected to work on their personal projects or be required to do a lot of other work.
But then you have people who cant do that and are available at certain times, like 9:00 and 11:00 on Friday. They may be on a call that day or in the middle of a meeting or whatever. It may be a work day, but not necessarily a work day.
The main reason for me to stick to my old business hours may be that I’m not used to that. I’ve changed my life a bunch of times and I have to do a lot of work on my own.
I find this to be a very interesting question. Its a common one and the reasons for most people’s change of schedule vary. Some people have to do work at work, some at home, some in the middle, or even some in the middle of something else. Some people are really good with schedules and get by on a schedule. Others can’t even do schedules well, so they just have to be available.
