I just received a call from a friend who works for the owner of a Gulfstream motorhome. His motorhome has been out of business for 4 months and he has no idea why. At the end of the call, he was crying and the owner of a Gulfstream motorhome is crying too. You can imagine the desperation of both of these people. That was my experience too.
I was in a hotel room one day recently, in a hotel that is run by a huge chain with multiple locations across the country. I was lying in bed and the owner of the hotel was on the phone with her husband.
Just like everyone else, I first thought the two of them were having a terrible day. I mean, after all, the couple was talking about money and divorce. But I was wrong. I was wrong. The husband and wife were having a terrible day too. And it was no different from the owner of a Gulfstream motorhome.
Actually, it’s not a lot like a Gulfstream motorhome. It’s a nice, roomy, all-wheel drive family SUV with a lot of cargo space in the trunk, a couple of large external foot wells in the back, and a flat bed in the back that could easily be converted into a bed and a few extra chairs.
The Gulfstream is a popular luxury vehicle in the United States, and over the last few years it has been on a steady decline in sales. The reason for that is that it has an older and more antiquated model (the Gulfstream VHIV) that is currently not as well-received as its younger and more modern sibling. The newest Gulfstream we have in our home was purchased in 2007 and has a newer engine and transmission than the one that was in the old one.
The VHIV is a two-door version of the original V-Series that was introduced in 1984. It is only made up of the V-Series engines, but the new model will also contain the V-Series engines. It’s hard to imagine that gulfstream would be able to keep up with the competition if it weren’t for the fact that it has three different engine architectures. It would be nice if we could get another engine that was actually worth the money, but that’s not going to happen. All of the other motorhomes we’ve tested have been either very expensive or only work with certain makes of cars.
The whole new motorhome business is getting a bit stale. If the gulfstream was the only motorhome out there, then it wouldnt be worth it, but it also wouldnt be as good as the others. Its the only one out there that offers a choice of three different engine architectures, and one of the three has been out for a while.
