I have to say, I love this second tier of self-awareness. It’s such a refreshing change of pace from the typical “I can’t do my job” self-awareness. Now I don’t have to be able to do my job, but I can still be self-aware. Which I have found to be a very good thing.
I don’t want you to think I’m some kind of weirdo who thinks that the self-aware part is totally uninteresting. I’m not. I think it’s good. I think it’s very useful. I think it’s very useful for me. So I’m not going to be the one to say that this is a bad thing, but I’m not going to be the one to say that this is a good thing, either.
I don’t know if you know this, but your job is not to be someone who thinks its good for you to be in a state of self-awareness, or to be in a state of self-awareness. You should be able to do your job, and be self-aware. The difference is that you are aware what you are doing. That’s a good thing.

When we become aware of our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, we can change them. We can change our routines and our impulses. We can change our habits and our impulses. But we can’t change how we think. We can’t change what we think.

You might think of it this way. If we think of ourselves as always doing things that are right for us, then we cant change our habits and our impulses. But we cant change how we think.
The truth is that we can change our habits and impulses. But we cant change our habits or our impulses. You may be thinking, “Well of course I can.” but that is not actually true. If we think that our habits and our impulses are always right, then our habits and our impulses are always right. If they are wrong, then they are wrong. They are wrong because they are wrong.
