If you are making decisions by following the steps in our list, you are almost guaranteed to be more effective. I think that the success of a company depends on how many of these steps are used to make decisions. You could be doing something that makes you good and then people are going to say, “Aha, that’s what we needed.” But the company might have gone down that path before and now its not working out.
