Casey is a professional chef, food writer, and recipe developer who helps people create the life they want. I recently interviewed her about what it feels like to cook at home. What follows is our conversation.
I think that many of us feel like we have a lot of free time on our hands, but we also know that time spent cooking can create a lot of stress. There are many good reasons to give time to cooking (and baking), but it’s not as simple as saying, “Hey, time to do my cooking”.
Cooking can be stressful because we are often in the kitchen while most of the family is sleeping. We have to find something to do or we can spend literally hours on a hot stove or in a microwave.
I think that a lot of people believe that they don’t get stressed out much when they’re cooking because they are usually cooking on the stove, but I think that many of us really do get stressed out cooking because there are so many different pots and pans, so many ingredients, and we have to prepare so many different dishes that we end up creating a lot of stress.
I dont know if this is true or not, but I think that being stressed out over cooking and having to make so many dishes is a pretty natural reaction to having a family. We have kids and I think that we feel a lot of pressure to be a perfect mom because we want to be the perfect mom. This can be really stressful, especially when your kids are little.
I think that it can be stressful to have kids because it makes it impossible to relax. You must get up, feed them, get them to school, and then you have to worry about dinner. Or you have to worry about making dinner, or cleaning up after dinner, or dealing with the house, or the laundry. Or dealing with the kids… and the kids are the problem.
The truth is that we’re not perfect, and we know it. We just want to take care of our kids the best way we know how. And sometimes that can be a little frustrating because we don’t always have the time or the energy to do everything at once or to be perfect.
We know that casey was a little one when we first met him and we were not so good at taking care of people. We have since gotten a lot better. However, we know that were not perfect, and we know that we need to do more. We are not perfect either. But we hope that by improving ourselves we can be better parents better partners, better friends, better neighbors, and better people.
Casey was a very smart kid that never felt comfortable in his own skin. He was awkward with everyone, even his peers, and he didn’t really fit in with his schoolmates. Even though he was smart, he wasn’t very social. He was awkward, he wasn’t very confident, and because of this his grades went down. He had a hard time making friends, and he was an introvert.

He was always making an excuse for his behavior, but by the time he got to high school his friends didnt really like him.
