The medium jet is a low-performance jet. It is capable of getting you to point A in about an hour, but it does so in about three hours. These jets are also very expensive, and the bigger they get the more expensive they become.
They are used primarily in military applications now, but they could be used for a lot of other applications as well. In fact, you could buy a medium jet for about $300 from a civilian manufacturer just so you can fly it a couple times a year. In this day and age, you can’t really afford to fly a medium jet for any length of time, but you could certainly fly it for a day or two.
They’re not just for military. A medium jet can also be used for aviation and commercial (small-scale, one-person) applications. And there are several companies making medium jets that are as reliable as commercial jets, but smaller.
