Although the game itself is set in our reality, it brings us back to the Matrix because it shows us what things would be like in our reality. The game’s story was based on the Matrix from the movie, and it showed us what would happen if we went back to that reality.
I think Joel may be a bit too clever for his own good, especially in The Matrix Reloaded. The game is a great example of how technology can help us in our lives. People should not create a game based on the world of the Matrix, and most especially not based on a movie. It is very easy to fall into the trap of trying to create the ultimate virtual reality, where everything is just a game. The Matrix Reloaded is just too clever for its own good.
The main character of Deathloop is Joel Tucker, an amnesiac who awoke on the island of Blackreef in Deathloop’s time loop, only to find that he was trapped there for eternity. He is the primary antagonist of the game and, as a time loop, he is a time traveler himself and is locked into the Matrix. When he is killed by a Visionary on the island, the game’s main plot is resolved.
For all the many things that Deathloop has going for it, it’s really not that great a game. The fact that it has no combat, no puzzles, no story, no gameplay, and no story mode is really disappointing. It also has a lot of “what we’ve done before.” Like, you’re going to die, it’s all just a game, and you’re going to die.
This is not to say the game sucks. There are a few good elements, including lots of guns, a cool time-loop, and a great story. The gameplay though, really, is… not much to it. The gameplay is very simple, with no real depth, and that is what weve loved about the past games. There are a few levels that are nice to explore, but for the most part the game is exactly like all the others. No depth.
It doesn’t feel like anything new. It’s very similar to the first game in that regard, but the gameplay is so simple and the weapons are weak and the story is predictable. When we started the first game, we were expecting something with much more depth. The main thing is we like the game, but we dont expect it to be great. We expect it to be fun. That is all.
