What a beautiful weekend.
Thanks to the beautiful weather we’ve had here in Florida, the real estate professionals here in Atlanta have found it necessary to throw open their doors and start showing homes.
We are just a few blocks from the beautiful Flamingo Hotel, home to many of the country’s nicest homes. The hotel is just an easy walk from our place, but it’s not the most elegant place to look at. Its lobby is actually decorated in a bit of a kitschy but not too bad way. The entire floor is covered with colorful, bright, and pretty decor. It’s almost like you’re in a museum.
This is kind of an interesting idea, as the Flamingo is a really nice hotel and a great place to visit on any given day. But to be honest, you can do a lot more nice things to your home with a little less money and a little more elbow grease. Many of our friends are renting out their homes so that they can show us their beautiful homes, which they truly are.
Well, the reason the Flamingo is so great is because it’s part of a collection of hotels and apartment complexes that is actually owned by the city of Miami. The problem is that these hotels have a lot of competition with the Flamingo because they’re mostly located in neighborhoods that have lower property values and lower incomes than the Flamingo. But its still a great place to stay.
