I have noticed that a lot of folks in Chicago have a “chicago-tiredness” (or at least a lack of it), which is often the result of either over work or a lack of rest or both. And, for those that are looking to achieve a more healthy way of life, this is a great opportunity to take up some meditation/prayer practice.

Some of these meditations are great. Others, I think, are just a bit too self-indulgent. But I definitely love watching them, so I was excited to check out the new documentary called “practice.Im a big fan of meditation, and Ive been following this YouTube channel for a while now. You get a pretty good idea of how the video creator does a meditative practice from the title, so I was interested to see how practice did. The creator, Dan Barker, takes a wide-ranging look at meditation and the people who practice it. In the video, you get a broad overview of how meditation works, but also a glimpse into some of the more esoteric aspects of meditation.
I think that this type of research is quite fascinating. Not only do I think it’s important to understand the psychology behind meditation, I also think it’s important to understand how meditation works so that one can get a broader understanding of it as a practice.
I was skeptical when I first heard about Dan Barker’s research, but now I’m not so sure. He’s a medical doctor and he’s a very interesting guy. So he wants to give people a broader explanation of meditation, and you can see that he’s very aware of the fact that there are many different styles of meditation.
Barkers research is interesting. He takes a wide range of meditators and has them do a variety of meditation techniques and then has the meditators talk about why they chose that particular style. For example, one guy just likes to sit in silence, the next guy is a very intense meditator and that guy was always really nervous.
Barkers is right. When we put ourselves into another person’s body, we often become aware of many different things. Barkers says that the best meditation is a very broad and open-ended meditation that focuses on the body, and that we can meditate in many different ways.
Barkers is right about that because we can practice multiple meditation styles. It’s important to remember that meditation is a technique, not a lifestyle. It’s not about starting a new hobby, but it is about creating a method of self-awareness and self-expression.
