I’ve tried my best to keep a pace of thought when I’m in the business world. I want to be organized and efficient. But sometimes I fail. When I’m in the business world, I think in the slow, measured way. Sometimes I think in the speedy way.
Ive been a business leader all my life so Im used to this. I just dont want to be in the business world anymore. I get so much crap from people about being sloppy and being impulsive, and Im mad about it. But Im also worried that Im not being as present in my life as I should be, and Im going to be in a very busy time of my life, and Im going to be a little more impulsive than Im accustomed to.
Well, that’s probably true. As a leader, Im not used to being in a big rush, or in a hurry. But in a fast pace world, you don’t necessarily have to be in a hurry. You can still do a lot of things in a hurry, things that take more time. We’re going to be in a busy time of our lives, and Im most likely going to be impulsive and sloppy.
Im not going to get all of this business in just a couple of minutes, but it is going to be a lot of fun. If you ever find yourselves in a hurry, keep in mind that Im not just talking about how you can get things done in a hurry. Im talking about how you can get things done in a hurry too, and Im sure that Im not the only one who thinks this way.
