Although most of us are fairly casual in our dress, most of the time, we dress more formally than we feel comfortable wearing. And business casual, even if your work is casual, is definitely a style to avoid. But, there are steps you can take to create the perfect polo for your work environment.
We all have different opinions on what style of polo is best for work. So we thought it would be fun to find out what the most popular styles are in the US. So we did our research based on our own fashion tastes, and here are the most popular styles in the US.
There are a few standard polo styles that are pretty universal, so we’ll just take these for now. The first is the classic polo, which is the top and bottom hem line of the jacket and pants. The second is the polo shirt, which is a button down shirt, but it’s a one piece. The third is the polo skirt, which is a skirt with a two button closure.

It’s actually a good reminder to be conscious of one’s appearance, as I’ve noticed after my first few years of wearing them that they’ve gotten a bit less trendy.
The thing about business casual is that it is not really a style that you can really embrace unless you spend most of your day in it. In my first year in the business casual world, I thought it was a bit weird that people wore them with some sort of business casual attire. I started to question if I wanted to wear them with anything else and decided to go back to my old way of wearing them.
I thought that business casual was a dead style. I mean, at least until I got into my current job. I think that it’s safe to say business casual has made a comeback, and I’m not sure that it’s as common as I thought it was.
I think business casual suits have a lot to do with the fact that we’ve decided that we don’t want to wear business casual to work every day. Not to say that you shouldn’t go out to dinner, wear something more formal, or have a cocktail party, but to wear business casual in your company to work? Umm… not so much. It seems like there are a lot of people who do it, and it’s just something that you shouldn’t do.
Its nice to have a bit of a flexible dress code at work, but it does have its ups and downs. I think its nice to be able to go out to dinner and wear something casual, but it also can be really hard to wear anything other than a skirt or dress over your shirt or my socks. And if you do wear something more formal, you might also have to wear dress shoes. So there are definitely downsides to being casual.
