Gary Hoffman is a professional photographer, writer, and educator who is a regular speaker, commentator, and contributor to the Huffington Post. He is the author of the acclaimed book, The Photography of Gary Hoffman and co-author of the groundbreaking book, The Third Eye: How We Read, How We Think, and How We See What Others Don’t.
Hoffman is known for his “deep and powerful” photography that conveys a profound sense of place and time, and he was recently named one of the “10 People to Watch for the Next 10 Years.” His work has been featured in many publications, including the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, Newsweek, New York, the New York Daily News, and The Washington Post Magazine. In 2017 he was awarded the International Photography Award.
I recently met with gary to discuss his art and his latest project, an exhibit called “We Are Still Here” on the streets of New York that will be open in January.
He’s a really engaging artist. I feel that his work is an extension of his personality, which is why I enjoyed meeting him. But he seems like a really great guy and I’m sure he has more to say about his current project.
gary hoffman is a well known photographer. As a young man he worked hard to develop a reputation as a serious photographer until, at a very young age, he had a freak accident and was left with no visual memory of his life. His mother said that once she made it onto the cover of Life magazine, gary would spend all his time reading the magazine. He was actually born with his left hand in a cast, and his parents refused to take him to an eye doctor.
gary has always been an unusual subject, perhaps because of his childhood accident, or perhaps because he seems so much more like his normal personality when he’s not on camera. The more time we spend with gary, the more we see that his normal personality is really more like a cartoon than real. Gary is a quirky, playful, and very easy-going person. He’s the person who is always laughing, making people laugh.
Gary is a character in the indie horror game, gory games, and gary hoffman is one of the main cast members from the game, but he is not the main character. Gary is one of the few people in the game who is actually able to speak. He has a somewhat awkward way of talking, and hes very quiet. He has a soft voice and hes not good at communicating all that well.
The character that Gary has a bit of trouble with is a man named Adam. He is a scientist who has a very weird hobby that is making men and women go insane. He makes them do bizarre experiments that they think will help them find happiness, but they don’t realize just how messed up they are. Gary is quite disturbed by Adam’s bizarre experiments.
